Following are Frequently Asked Questions from ClickItTwice,
LLC's customers:
Do I
need to hire a "local" web site designer? We create web
sites for clients who are local as well as out of state. By
using the Internet, email and the telephone, it is possible
to communicate effectively with clients in any location.
How long
does it take to have a web site designed? The time frame
is determined by the size of your web site, the complexity
of your site design, our current client design schedule, and
your readiness with your site content.
What is
a
domain name? A domain name is a specific web site
address that you choose and register with
Network Solutions (the official registrar of domain
names ending in .com, .edu, and .gov). Our domain name is "clickittwice.com.”
I am
currently hosted with another design firm and would like to
switch over to ClickItTwice. How do I do this? Just fill
out an inquiry and we will take care of everything. We will
transfer your domain name along with all of your existing
web site’s content.
Can I
choose you to design my site and use my own web hosting?
Yes.
What is
web hosting? Web hosting is a monthly fee that you pay
to have your site accessible on the Internet. We can provide
web hosting for our clients.
What is
site maintenance? Maintenance is a fee paid monthly to
keep your site updated with new content that you provide.
Most good web sites have new content updated regularly.
Fresh content is what will keep your visitors coming back.
How much
does ClickItTwice charge for Maintenance? Our standard
charge is $50 per hour or any part thereof. To help save you
costs, we also have
maintenance plans.
I've
made my decision - I want you to design my web site. Now
what do I do? If you have decided you want a web site or
have any questions, simply fill out our
contact form or call us to start the process.
How frequently do I need to update my
website?
It depends on what you're doing with your website, but we
definitely recommend getting a maintenance plan. Content is
critical for optimization and "fresh" or new content is an
important factor for ranking. If you have a small business
brochure website you might probably want to update twice a
year some pages on your website, you might also have a page
to display the latest news on your website and you can add a
couple of notes once a month or every two months if you
want. For e-commerce or database websites you might update
or add content more frequently, those kinds of websites are
built to have those changes as needed.
What if I already have a site and only wish to improve it?
We offer complete redesign of an existing site. We can use
your existing text data and apply a
new
"look and feel"
to your web site. This can be accomplished at a fraction of
the cost of a brand new site.
